Volunteers with the Storybook Project go into the North Central Unit of the Arkansas Department of Corrections to record inmates reading a book. The recordings and book are then sent to their children or grandchildren.
The Calico Rock Community Foundation will soon host a low-watt Visitor Information Radio Station to provide our travelers with important information about their visit to Calico Rock.
Over 30 local artisans sell their craft in our Artisan Cooperative Gift Shop inside the Heritage & Visitor Center. A portion of the sale of these items helps support the Calico Rock Museums while the majority of the sale benefits the local artisan.

The Printing Press Cafe serves lunch Tuesday-Saturday on Historic Main Street in Calico Rock. They offer homemade soups, fresh salads, and handcrafted sandwiches. All proceeds benefit the Calico Rock Museum System and our community revitalization.
